“We will add diction, be voices for the men who can’t speak” says Osha, standing up and cleaning the cups from the table.

“Addiction”

There was much talk among the town, and in a way great triumph because the village knew that Prince Osha had now a plan to concur such demon.

People in the village began to write on paper the rules, such commandments or morals that would best describe the warriors, to whom would fight this mischievous beast.

The woman that Osha had met with a few moons ago. Lingered in him mind, and it started to infest an obsession. Almost agony for not getting enough time with this mysterious woman.

He recalled that moment…

gorgeous creature with hair flowing past her ears in the wind. She glanced at him as he chose his bread for the week at the market time place and she winked when he accidentally brushed her hand for some other tangible. He was seduced, and even a man with the heaviest of armer could not slow to catch a glimpse of this delicious being that Osha so badly wanted to press his lips upon.

And that to hear the horrendous news that FireWater had a grip on the goddess as well as other Tucsonans in the village. Honestly the Prince felt a heavy wave of despair. The gorgeous woman he had laid his eyes along, the youth and beauty. To find in fact possessed by an ingestible demon- Osha couldn’t get his head wrapped around this all.

He needed to find this goddess, and ask her himself what she saw in FireWater.

Osha ventured off into the common folk village, greeting all that came across him. Talking to one here, listening to another civilian there- he always was greeted heavily with open arms for he was a kind of man with great stature and peace.

Osha had with him a few obligations in which the Tucsonans had to follow and honor. If for whatever reason he didn’t believe and the Prince was to find out- this person would be sent to intensive “enjoying life training” and this is why Osha walked with much spread.

“My Tucsonan people! I here by announce a new law in place. Please gather here to listen the following obligations, you as the beautiful and strong people of Tucson have been granted opportunities, forgiveness and the power of moral awakening! Listen here as I have for you a life in which will be prosperous and whole”

Prince Osha stood in the middle of the village and as the villagers started to sit and settle, he read every step aloud.

  1. We admit that as a tribe we can not fight the demon alone, we are powerless.
  2. We come to be aware that if there is in fact demon, there for God is real.
  3. As a member of this village, we make the conscious decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God or higher power through daily spiritual practice
  4. From this date all Tucsonans shall make or be in the making of a searching and fearless moral inventory of themselves. Honest, truthful and no lawful punishment prior to this date, granted by Prince Osha in regards to maintain moral freedom and wellbeing.
  5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to personal approved by Prince Osha as moral guides of the Tucsonan Council the exact nature of our wrongs.
  6. Through daily spiritual practices, meditation and self care, Tucsonans agree to remove the defects of character caused by FireWater. If any person has never had ingested or been possessed by FireWater, they will be granted opportunity from Prince Osha as a moral guide of Tucsonans Council.
  7. Humbly ask ones higher power to remove past and future shortcomings.
  8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all (within reason, prioritizing self wellbeing and the wellbeing of others).
  9. Make direct amends genuinely, if unable admit this and move on.
  10. Continue to make moral inventory and on this date, annually Tucsonans will admit wrongs and be rewarded an annual allowance of vegetables, seasonal fruit and food for live stock. If one genuinely and honestly admits to involvement with the Firewater demon, they will be cared for in the castle, required to attend “Enjoying life training” for 30 days free of village duties. If one does not admit or is found guilty of involvement with Firewater, the villager or foreigner will need to attend “Enjoying life training” or a year, and annually attend a 30 day course until sure and reassured by the Prince that this villager can return to regular life among the unaffected man.
  11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
  12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to the possessed, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
  13. Those of the moral guide Tucsonan Council, if accepted responsibilities as a Council member by law, are to aid with “enjoying life training”, and pass on these 12 steps to assist Tucsonans with their spiritual awaking. All Tucsonans will be granted a 12 step book of the moral steps and follow them accordingly. Aware of consequences and privileges granted to each and every one who follows the 12 moral steps.

There was a mild chatter, and a few villagers had comments and questions. Osha was proud to see that most of his people nodded and took the steps with open arms. Some common men were fearful of “enjoying life training” after admitting needing help to ward off the Firewater demon. Osha reassured them that the training involved meditation, reading and practicing the 12 steps intensively. The purpose was to grant a strong connection with God and ward off this powerful demon.

Questions came and went, and Osha spent a few hours reassuring the possessed and the worried. Through the crowd however, the mysterious woman that had seduced Osha with only a glance was no where to be seen.

Where had this goddess gone? The Prince had to fight the urge of not panning the crown frantically and disregarding his duties to find this beautiful woman.

Soon the questions, comments and concerns started to wind down. Osha took some of the possessed to the castle for training and as soon as turned to close the gate of Tucson for the night, something caught in the corner of his eye.

He peaked past the gate to see the woman. She smiled and disappeared into the village, just spending a few seconds to look in his direction. He knew she knew he had seen here.

Did she know he was looking for her?
